You have been assigned an experienced player, Lt. Surge (Radja), to answer your questions and put you on the right track in this game. As a reminder of the rules, you don't have to maintain anonymity with each other, but you can't reveal your trainer's ID to any other player in the game (or anyone bar the mods outside of it).
Your trainer doesn't have to confine his/her posting to this thread but this thread may be convenient.

Hey Mewtwo,
Let's get a couple of things out of the way:
- Who are you? - Where are you from? - Are you familiar with survivor? Have you played before? - What do you expect from me?
As for the game:
You should have had some PMs already, this is the most important part of the game. Try and connect with people any way you can. Always reply to PMs and try to reply as frequently as possible. If there are players who haven't sent you a PM yet, make sure you send them a PM yourself. You'll need to try and connect with everybody to avoid becoming a target.

i also have a slight side gameplan idea of really appealing to the spectators, in the hope that their love could hopefully help in small subtle ways in what they say to other contestants and the questions they ask, so im gonna try being active there too

I'm sure all the spectators will be impartial

so, its not quite about that, its more of a psychological thing
assuming that specs will ask about the game and even ask about specific relationships with other players (e.g asking me what i think of player1)
if im someone that is interacting a lot with the specs, then the specs might ask more about me from other players (you wanna know if someone is likely to vote off a player you love)
if they are asking about me to other players then they’ll think about me more
also love and positive vibes from the specs will be nice anyway xD

Spectators don't tend to/shouldn't ask about specific players etc etc

Okay, keep maintaining contact with the other players. Our timezone can make it tough to interact with some players on the west coast. Needless to say, you should accept all Alliance offers made to you and you should look at who you want to work with long-term. Does anyone stand out on a social level? Like who's sending you lots of (lengthy) PMS? Who do you feel comfortable talking to? Try and make sure they know you want to work with them when the time comes. If you can get on the good side of who you think are going to be major players, they'll probably want to keep you around

time zone is being a right bitch, i just am never online when other people are, but i’m getting out messages whenever possible and talking to everyone
i’ve got 2 players who im sending long messages with, Uxie and Tapu, feeling closer with Uxie, we seem to be having really good chats and are quite similar in thinking, im gonna try for an open and vulnerable approach with them

yeah, I feel you there. Timezone is definitely an issue when you're in Europe. It's probably not a bad idea to tell people you're from Europe. It might prevent some people thinking of you as inactive. Another thing that might work there is to try and address multiple things at the same time, so you'll get more out of every message.
It might be a good time to try and form an Alliance with Uxie and Tapu if you feel close to them. You could pitch the idea to Uxie about wanting to work with Tapu and the other way around and you might have a 3-person Alliance soon. Having an Alliance early will likely keep your name off the chopping block and you might be able to steer the elimination the way you want it to go.
These are just ideas based on the info I'm getting so feel free to use or not use them.
Is anyone on the tribe inactive/hard to connect with? Have people complained to you about someone else? An easy first boot is Always nice to have around.

Okay so I think things are going well
The post I made in our team section about time zones was to show my time zone and make it clear that I’m of a different time zone to others so I feel that should help
I’ve proposed a few alliances with people and seem to be getting on really well so that should be good
At the moment the first on the chopping block is Buzz and Lugia

Oh, so 2 kinda inactive people then? That's nice. Considering you're a tribe of new players, don't hesitate to play the "we need to stick together" card so you can be a united tribe once there's a merge/swap. In this setup, I expect a swap to happen pretty early to avoid the veterans dominating the challenges. So make sure to also keep in contact with the inactives, in case you end up with them. The last thing you want is a player on the outs turning on you and getting eliminated.

How would you rank the tribe so far? From who's not getting voted out and who is? And where would you put yourself?

Quick question which is probably more towards my trainer than mods but mods can give a form of answer if they can
Idols...what’s the like usual norm for how they’re found? Like because obviously there isn’t a load of trees for me to go hunting in 😂

Like because obviously there isn’t a load of trees for me to go hunting in 😂 I have never gotten even close to finding an idol so I won't be of much help there lol. Look for hidden messages in challenge posts, rules posts and stuff like that. I just looked into the "Rules post" which was edited within the last 24 hours. I've noticed they added a bunch of letters to the post. That's a good place to start looking
