*The lights come up on the stage. It looks like it's been spruced up since the last time you viewed it, even the curtains are new. Hoopa slowly comes out takes a grand bow*
Hoopa: We've done it, we've made it here to the merge and also jury. I am sorry I haven't given you any recent updates, I have been a bit under the weather and I didn't exactly think you'd want the fevered incoherency you would have gotten from me before. So let's do some recap.
Delphox had some questions before I believe? Yes, let's get into those.
1) Winning didn't really help morale at all if I'm being honest. Both Volcanion and Mesprit are the kind of players who PM once a day if you're lucky. So while Celebi and I were happy we didn't need to go to TC again, it was just more of the same again. Like, I think I was the most happy about winning that round like I did.
2) I think in our tribe at that point, it wasn't about Valor/Mystic lines, but rather the personalities of the people involved. Now that we're at merge it might come into play more, and I'll get more into that later, but I feel like it was about the people and not tribe divisions in Instinct.
3) Well, my plan was to make sure whoever was there was someone I could trust to work with. And it worked out. If we had gone to another TC, I think we would have voted Volc out with very little qualms. He was okay but, the 3 Instincts all felt wary of him. I don't know how that's going to come into play here at merge, but keeping an eye out still.
4) Celebi, Mes, Volc. Celebi is my boo, like, he's no Sol, but easily my favorite person left in this game. I plan to keep working with him as long as I possibly can. I don't know if it's smart to sit next to him at FTC, but I will worry about that later on in this merge. Have to get a read on everyone first.
*laughs* Giratina, you're more than welcome to come to the stage if you want! I think you should root for me because I'm fun. And who doesn't want to have fun?
So let's get on to everything that merge has brought us.
*sigh* I need to make up with Meltan or it's going to go badly. He says that he didn't want the newbies on his tribe to have to experience what it's like to be swapscrewed already so he couldn't stay Mystic strong. Deox says that his reasons were due to being worried about me holding a grudge over Sol going and wanting to make it harder for me to specifically fuck him up or whatever. And he's probably going to jump ship to all the Valors. Which okay, I can see that, but like that was round 2 dude. Sure I'm going to remember it and what you were willing to do, it's not going to be the sole reason I vote you out when I do. It'll be because you're causing fucking problems and I can't trust you. I can't trust that you aren't going to let your paranoia get the best of you and cause you to misread situations and make something happen simply because you don't like what is going on. You have the right to want things to go your way, but there's ways to do it that don't leave everyone else feeling garbo.
Coba and Poi had some trouble in their tribe, and there's some tension between then and Uxie, which is awk as Uxie is someone Mes likes and I don't know how that's going to go down. Tapu Lele is just as nice in person as they were in the Codenames thread, and I think we can be friends. Deox says he trusts me most out of everyone, especially since I had his back during the TCs in Mystic so that should be good. Coba said he missed our long conversations and he's sad that merge is going to mean well have to put those on hold for a while. I don't know how I feel about Regi yet, but he's funny. Uxie is... there I guess. We're still getting into the swing of talking. Volc I haven't really talked about anything with since after the round Mewtwo went home, and I don't know if that's a bad thing or not. We'll see.
I think this merge is going to be very very messy. All these newbies seem like very open and honest types. They haven't quite gotten to the whole, everyone talks to everybody about everything almost always point yet, but I think they're going to have to learn that one really fast here. I don't know what happens here. I don't know if there's a clear bottom somebody either. There's problem people, sure but clear worsts, no.
That hidden forum just sitting there sure hints at another idol, but I have no idea how to get into that. There's gotta be an idol for the Valor tribe, and maybe Regi got the same clue Coba got, or Meltan has it and I am worried about that. It's going to be messy. And being sick on top of this, I don't have good feelings.

*Hoopa comes out to the stage shaking their head* Hoopa: Remember how I told everybody during round 2 that keeping Meltan was going to be a super bad idea come merge? *laughs bitterly* I fucking called it. He wins immunity and then suddenly starts pushing for a Coba vote, and trying to capitalize on some tension between Coba and Uxie, which has since been resolved as far as I can tell. You have Volcanion that no one can really connect to and people could agree on, has also caused some issues with other people. And of course it seems like Meltan is trying to tell some people, especially Coba, that I'm the source of the Volc vote idea which isn't exactly true. And he's telling me that Coba is taking some bad PM exchange between Deo and Volc and blowing it out of proportion. Which, guys, it was a really bad PM. Volc essentially said to Deo that their PM exchange was a futile and idiotic(not the word he used, but I don't really want to type the word he did use) attempt of people trying to connect, and his trainer would probably call the whole exchange a loss worth giving up on. And I already heard about that BEFORE Meltan won immunity. And Meltan is trying to say that he really doesn't want someone in the game who is willing to do that kind of thing with a situation to save themselves. Pot meet kettle. It's all like I said would happen if we kept Meltan, I tried to fucking tell you guys. We'll see how it all shakes down, but I fucking called it. *takes a moment to compose themselves* You had a question Giratina. Thank you for your congratulations, I like being here in merge  I'd say my best ally is Celebi, hands down. We just get each other. Worst Enemy is clearly Meltan. He keeps killing my friends and trying to pin shit on me too. Not a fan. I will say I do like a lot of the newbies, and everything I've gotten from them they also like me. Or they've said so anyways. |

Or maybe Uxie will be willing to try to get to the bottom of everything that happened. And maybe, just maybe she'll understand why us Mystics are fucking freaked here. I don't know if it works out in our favor, but going to try. Also, sorry mods about not voting. It's really important that TC doesn't end early until more communication has happened with certain people.

I don't think anyone will actually change, and Coba is going to go home here. Coba says if it is him, he will be leaving some very choice words for Meltan before he goes. Also he told me that he feels I'm the most deserving of his jury vote if he leaves as well. So that's something even if all of this has been so much goddamn shit.

So that was a fucking surprise. Coba didn't tell any of us that he had another idol. We had no idea. And pretty sure Poi is the one who jumped ship. The problem with this becomes the fact that everyone is going to look at him as an idol magnet who is someone who should be voted out at all costs, which honestly is fair. He said he got that idol on original Mystic, so he's found 2 so far the fucking maniac. He didn't tell us just in case a situation like this came up, which is smart, and why I'm keeping my idol hidden. It has left people like Regi confused about why idol out Volc, that seems like a waste. But like, nah, it's not. It's like, showing he has faith in the people who said they'd stick by him, which is really fucking clever. And I agree it's something to look out for, he's building a damn good resume. But I think he's building it too soon. I am going to let him stay the big scary bad for a bit though, I need him to be. I also think I'm just done trying with Meltan for now. Like, he just stops messaging me during TCs the moment he gives his reasons for voting somebody and I'm just like "hold the phone, that's not what I've heard, let's compare notes" and then he makes it seem like it's my fault for everything. Poi said that during this TC Meltan was messaging her saying she was a horrible awful player who is just being played, and that I'm just lying to her and I've had a hate boner for Meltan this whole game and I'm just manipulating her, and she's just bad anyways and how could she go back on their friendship?? All while he's also been ignoring her in PMs. Like, Meltan, I get you probably do actually believe that I hate you, but you shouldn't treat people like that. Also, I don't hate you, I just don't trust you at face value and can't trust that anything you say isn't some huge exaggeration just to keep you looking completely blameless like you're trying to protect other people from big bad scary evil guys. I don't hate you though, I just do not like that kind of play whatsoever.

That's uh not gonna win you any friends my dude, and we might need some here. Ah the lovely Giratina had some questions it would seem. That sure was a vote! I agree! I don't think the idol play hurt me exactly. Like, people know why I did what I did. And some people respected me sticking to my guns even though it was likely to go badly. And they were willing to talk everything out with me as well. Oh! I am always worried about idols. I heard a rumor that Meltan, Deox, and Arti worked on the anagram together that I got an idol from, so Meltan could have an idol which would suck. And an idol clue was just given out, so there's likely to be another one soon. I am very worried that Meltan is going to try to pull some shit on me here. We will see. But I know I don't have good standing with the guy, and if he'd idol anybody out, I think he'd choose me. Coba has a really damn good story with two idols and if he keeps beasting through challenges. If Meltan makes it through as well, he could have a story of facing huge opposition. I'm not sure if anybody else has good game stories yet. We'll see. I HOPE I GIVE THE KIND OF DETAILS YOU WANT! |

So, I'm hearing some things from Uxie which kinda makes me wonder if maybe I've hitched my horse to the wrong wagon. She's telling me about some of the shit Coba pulled during that mysterious Valor 2 tribe, and it kinda sounds like he's kind of been a huge dick towards her and other people. And maybe the things Meltan was actually saying was true. I uh may need to apologize, because I didn't believe him and thought he was exaggerating. And he may have been telling the truth the whole time. And maybe I'm drinking some kool-aid I didn't know I was. This may turn into a more interesting TC than it could have.
Also Coba is being like, you know I bet Meltan is prime idol protection bait, so why don't we go vote for a different Valor and save Meltan for later. Which.... logically I can see that. But also hm.

Anybody want an update? I know you do!
As expected Cel and I are being tossed around by Valor and co, so who knows what it is they're going to do. But we're telling them that it's Meltan, all while we're going to be voting for Mes. The hope is maybe we flush an idol, but if we don't, it ties on somebody they'd be willing to flip so as not to force rocks. Mes just hasn't been around and she's the swing, and if we drop her then there isn't a set swing that can throw a wrench into things. We all know that we need to keep an eye out on both Coba and Meltan here, but we need a round and room to move if we're going to deal with either of those problems, and this gives us the freedom to do it I think. I hope anyways.

Okay, so, I feel bad that we were going to vote her out and she decided she needed to quit for her RL stuff. I also feel bad for lying to her about the vote being Meltan so she'd vote there and would go home. But sometimes that's the game. And it was never going to feel good. But I do wish her the best and I hope that her RL stuff works out. I wish things could have been different because I did really want to work with her and Celebi. I was sold on that trio.

I also learned that the vote was not solely on me like I worried it might be, Tapu Lele says that it was more likely to be Celebi because there were people who did not want to vote for me at all, and Tapu was one of them. He thought it was going to be him, which while he's a let's maintain balance and majority kind of guy, he's also a ray of goddamn sunshine and it would feel bad to send him home. So of course, I'm going to need to send him home at some point because he's so nice and I don't think I can compete with that. Maybe by not waffling on things, I might be okay? Apparently Meltan respects that about me? That he knows I'm voting against him and I don't pretend I'm not. Yay? Whatever. We're sort of talking now but I think he's kind of right where there's no real good way to make any of this work out even if we do manage to become friends. Ah well.

This is stupid. Regi might vote Uxie with us? But like how can we trust that for sure? And it sounds like Uxie has tried to make the entire other coalition there vote for Celebi. And Poi is nowhere to be seen. No idea how this shakes out, but everything about it feels too convenient and fine and I'm not sure it's going to go that way. I really don't. I can hope, but it feels too perfect.

Cool, no one knows who flipped where. Reggie, Deox, and Meltan's votes are mysteries. And there's tons of stories to say otherwise. So no one truly knows what any of them actually did, cool cool. Some shady shit is going on here and I don't know what it is. But I know I don't like it.

This fucking game, guys. So Meltan was definitely on Celebi. Because he just seems completely broken in his PMs to me, so I'm apt to believe what he's saying. Reggie says that Deo is telling them that he voted for Celebi and Meltan says that Deo has been telling him this whole time that he was 100% with him. So Meltan has believed that Deo voted Coba with him, when we know it was Poi who felt guilty about it even. But clearly Meltan didn't know, and neither did Reggie for a while. Uxie was the person Meltan trusted the most in the game so that was an accurate assessment of her place in the game. I oddly think I may end up as the one person Meltan knows he can deal with because while we've been on opposite sides pretty much always, I haven't lied to him about being on that other side. And we can agree that there are things I can't tell him, and I will just say that I can't and that's okay. So uh yay?
