I know, that was exactly my plan at the time. Sorry you had dto take the fall for it, but it did work for me in the end because you were more heavily targeted and I didn't have the same blame or targeg on me.
Also, the reasoning for wanting Solgaleo gone over you was pretty much his threat level. Even now, people in the Final 5 want him here. There's literally no way he would have ever been eliminated without some sort of idol.

You know, a more interesting play there would've been to push hoops there instead: it was in the back of my mind early on and potentially the mid game could've been different.

No, Hoopa was close to me and I knew that she would be more loyal to me than Solgaleo. Plus, she was more reasonable than him, and I knew she'd be able to handle and explain things more easily.
Besides, the only reason the Solgaleo push worked was because he had already done something wrong that I could capitalize on. Hoopa wasn't really guilty of anything.

*Feeds myself one of my many grapes*
So how does it feel to be the most active person in the game at the moment?

Valid. Sol's meltdown was a horrible nail in his coffin.
I am so glad I'm not doing those challenges.
