Alright, so nothing too much has happened since a couple of days ago, but I thought I'd organize my thoughts and talk about where I'm hoping to take my game over the next couple of days, which is especially important considering we lost the first game of the challenge, meaning it's possible we'd be facing our first TC soon enough.
First and foremost, I want to be allied with Regi for as long as possible. I only sent him one message today, and I feel terrible about not keeping him up to date. I think he might understand just because there's been a lot of challenges going on recently and we've shifted more into game talk, but I definitely don't want to give him the impression that I'm just completely neglecting him or just using him for numbers, because that's entirely not true.
My plan for today was to pitch an alliance to Uxie, but he hasn't been responding to any messages today, which is understandable considering he's out of town but it's not ideal. I really want to bond closer with Tapu and Mesprit, but Mesprit's especially hard since he hardly ever messages back, and I'm not sure if it's just inactivity or lack of interest, or maybe a mix of both. Mesprit actually messaged me recently saying that he thought he'd be an early boot, which is crazy considering how many loafers there are in this tribe and how much work he's been putting into challenges and how likeable he is overall, but it gives me hope that he's not as unapproachable as I imagine.
I really don't know how much of the blame is on me, but I'm not having meaningful conversations with like half the tribe. I think I had something going with Volc for a while, but then after a while it just kind of died. With Lugia it's like half his posts are just short follow up questions and I have to like pick up a lot of the talking, and then when I try to get him to talk about his interests he just gives really short replies and it's really boring. Buzz/Mewtwo are just not that engaging to talk to, though I guess Mewtwo is trying to improve.
So like, the dream alliance for me would be me/Regi/Uxie/Tapu/Mesprit, but I think that's too much to ask for, haha. Or maybe just not an out-right alliance, just some people who I'm close enough with to talk to and trust that they'd vote my way and not like for me, lol. Regi should still have Volc as a fail-safe, so even if we only manage to align with like me/him/Uxie we'd only need like one more vote to maintain majority, and I really don't think voting out either Mewtwo or Buzz should be a hard sell, lol, so I think I'm solid even if we lose this challenge.

So do you think the interactions you're having with the players you listed are also happening with everybody else?
Do you think it's because you guys won the first round?

I'd say yes to some extent. The most notable distinction seems to be with Volcanion -- most everyone else seems to be getting along with him fine, but personally I don't have that strong of a connection with him. However, according to Regi it seems like Volc himself finds himself struggling with everyone equally, so it seems there's a disconnect between how he's perceiving everyone and how everyone's perceiving him. That aside, I feel our perceptions of each other are fairly similar. Me and Regi largely agree with who's the best to align to (we both like Uxie, and agree that we can work with Mesprit/Tapu as well). From recent conversations with Tapu I've seen the same group of players crop up to the top -- Regi, Volc, Mesprit, and Uxie -- and Uxie also agreed that Regi/Tapu/Mesprit were all great to talk too, so that's almost half the tribe who gravitate towards the same core group of people, so I'd say that the interactions I'm having with others is largely widespread over the rest of the tribe as well.
Hmm... I definetly feel that winning the first round gave us a lot more time to talk to each other, but I think it more solidified our feelings for each other rather than breaking any new ground. I'd say I'm getting along with some players a bit more than I was prior to the first TC, but I wouldn't say nothing major happened. However, I will say that I'm starting to get more meaningful conversation going with Mewtwo -- whether that transpires into something more is yet to be seen, but if it does then that'd be pretty significant, considering it was looking like he'd be an early first boot if we lost the first challenge.

So our tribe won another challenge, woot woot! Honestly kind of hoping we don't have to wait forever for a TC -- there hasn't been too much game talk going around the tribe as of yet. Winning the challenge was great and getting to play Codenames for the first time was exciting, but another unexpected advantage that came from it was being able to talk across tribal lines! We had like 30 minutes to talk after the game was over, so Solgaleo suggested we started talking about the state of our tribes and we just went to town. Solgaleo and Hoopa told us how the Jirachi vote went down -- it turned out Jirachi really does talk in rhyme 24/7, what a shocker. I also got to learn about how Tapu views the rest of the tribe, and I was relieved to fine a lot of our likes matched up. We also all losely agreed to form an alliance in case we ever meet up with each other during the swap, which is definitely a good sign. Hoopa also suggested we name drop someone that they'd try to contact in case we didn't end up on the same tribe during a swap. I decided to say Regi, which sounds nice on paper but I hope I'm not painting him as too large as a threat. I know Tapu mentioned that Regi was very active in terms of PMs, so hopefully that doesn't give them the idea to try to take him out after a swap, lol.
Things on the Valor tribe itself haven't changed much. Uxie apparently agreed to form a alliance with me and Regi after Regi pitched it to him, but I still haven't heard back from him so I'll wait for confirmation just to be sure. After the long talk me and Tapu had with Solgaleo and Hoopa, I feel it'll be much easier to strike an alliance with her. I feel the next step would be integrating Tapu into our 3-person alliance, which should be great since we all expressed a liking towards one another privately, then from that point on it would be fairly easy to steer the vote as long as Regi and Volc can remain allied and convince him to vote with us, so that'll be splendid!

<3. Just trying to be really open about my thoughts and what's going on in the tribe. Glad it's working out so far!
