So Mewtwo got voted out of Instinct -- no real surprise there, though I wonder if the Valors over there ever thought it'd be worth it to stick together over there.
I don't know what the tribe dynamic was over there in Instinct, but Mewtwo, if you ever read this, I'd say your Achilles' heel was not being able to connect well with your tribe-mates and your lack of activity overall. I really enjoyed our talks about Survivor -- if you manage to maintain that same level of engagement with other people you're a lot more likely to go farther in the future! Just try to find something that clicks and go back and forth with each other on that -- that's a good way to form good connections with others.

On a scale of desperate to holy shit that's desperate, how desperate is this?

Poipole seems pretty open to doing whatever I want too. I can literally steer the vote anywhere I want provided the two of them aren't blindsiding me -- this is too much power for a tiny Pokemon like me!

OK now Corn Cob's saying he'll put in a good word for me to the Mystics if I save him??? I dunno how much influence he really has, but I was planning on voting out Lugia anyways, so ahoy matey!

Alright, I already talked to Poipole & Cobalion, so unless they're both two-timing me then Lugia's 100% going home this TC. Part of me is wondering how much Cobalion and Poipole really like me, considering how desperate they are to rely on me. The only thing I'm fairly certain about is that Lugia likes me since he admitted it even before he was ever in danger, but the problem is I don't really like engaging with him that much. That's just me personally -- he seems like a really great guy overall. I really don't want to blindside Uxie with this vote and vote against his will, so if he wants Poi/Cob out I'd be willing to switch the vote. It usually takes him a while to reply back though, and I've almost been waiting an hour to hear back from him. But it's important to make sure that me and Uxie are on the same page, b/c when we get to the merge the Mystics won't be that desperate anymore, and if it turns out this alliance is all for show I'm screwing myself up in the long term. Lugia is a fairly weak link in the Valor tribe anyways, and I won't be pissing off Regi with this vote, so overall I think I'm content with voting him out.
OK wait a minute, apparently Corn Cob just told me Lugia's planning to vote out Uxie??? Never mind then -- hasta la vista, Lugia!

Uxie's pretty upset that Lugia wants to vote him out, which is understandable. I'm just kind of confused as to why Lugia thought that was a good idea to begin with. Would he really plan to blindside me after saying that he wants to protect me??? I mean Cobalion could also be lying to me and Uxie, if he wants to completely fuck up his game and get himself voted out that is. Like net of all things Lugia is 100% the necessary vote now. I'd rather have Uxie as an ally over Lugia despite his shaky activity, and if Poi and Corn Cob want to turn on me at the merge then so be it, but overall I feel this move is a net positive for my game. I think it's just paranoia trying to get me to think of all the possible worst case scenarios that are equally unlikely to actually occur.

1) You lost tonight and are heading to tribal council. What factors are playing into your vote tonight? Is your mind made up or are you flexible?
2) Is keeping the team strong more important than going after someone personally? Why or Why not?
3) What is the key strength you bring to the table for this tribe and this game?
4) Are you scrambling tonight? Or are you just watching the pieces fall into place?
5) Who is going home? Who would you want to go home? If they’re not the same person, tell me why.

Uh yeah just make sure Uxie is fully on board and do as you desire.
You seem committed to this pretty quickly so it's essentially impossible to back out of this vote now it seems.
Hearing that Lugia wanted to vote out Uxie from a secondhand source that may or may not be desperate is something to remember in the future.
It can be super dangerous to blindly believe someone in a disadvantageous position further in the game.
With that said if any old tribemates question it in the future, you *can* definitely mention to them that you had heard that Lugia wanted to target Uxie and didnt want to be Lugias next target if had lost.

Apparently Poipole is confused as fuck as to what's going on as well. According to him he was the one who heard from Lugia that I was voting him out, not the other way around. I don't know if he's throwing Cobalion under the bus or what the fuck's actually happening. I'm "pitching" a Cobalion vote to Lugia rn -- which is where I want to be heading if Cobalion spilled the beans anyways -- but I really want to get this whole story straight first.

Cobalion hasn't messaged back for a half an hour, so I think it's safe to say mission voting out Cobalion is good to go. I actually regret calling him out for that -- makes it a lot harder for me to blindside him now. If Cob/Poi maintain that I've been trying to vote out Lugia then I think I can weasel my way out of it, so as long as Uxie maintains that we didn't vote him out we can just pin it on the Mystics causing a lot of chaos, hopefully. He was really up front with me about thinking about voting out Uxie, so if it ever comes out I did really try to vote Lugia out my game is pretty much screwed. Aaaaaah I messed up so fucking bad this game.

K, Uxie just got online, and he seems pretty relieved that Lugia isn't out for his blood. So right now we should be good to vote out Cobalion as long as no one's lying straight up to my face. I've shot a message to Cobalion and I'll see what he has to say about the whole ordeal, but I'm suspecting sooner or later someone has to come clean. The fact that one/both of them told Lugia I was voting him out specifically when Uxie was as much on board with it as I am suggests they were actually trying to rally up Lugia to vote me out. But then again it doesn't make sense that Cobalion or Poipole would intentionally fuck up their game like this. I mean I guess I might come of as a threat (?) but Cobalion especially wanted this to be a really easy TC, so it doesn't make much sense that they'd jeopardize their game this badly just to have a shot at fucking up mine.

Possible scenario I just thought about -- Lugia completely sniffed out that I was voting him all by himself and made up the story that Cobalion and Poipole told him I wanted him out. He has had some experience before from what I've gathered, and he has a lot more to gain than Cob/Poi. Cobalion and Poipole don't want chaos -- especially Cobalion, give his last few PMs to me. Lugia however 100% wants chaos this TC since he's at the bottom. I haven't messaged him back last night about the vote, and I think that's what lead him to correctly suspect I was voting him out. That makes too much sense, honestly.

This TC was a whole lot more drama than I was anticipating. It's safe to say that Lugia is 99% the one causing all this drama, and luckily it seems like no one else is buying his bullshit. Lugia's been going around telling everyone I told Cobalion and Poipole to eat shit (?), and he also told Poipole that he didn't specifically told me that he spilled the beans, which according to the first PM is a blatant lie. I'm just relieved I didn't end up making a terrible mistake, and hopefully this won't fracture the good bond I've built up with Poipole and Cobalion.
Don't worry Delphox -- I'll get to your questions when this all settles down.

1) So when this was first posted I was thinking a bit about tribal lines and considered keeping Lugia to keep our numbers strong, but like after all this mess I'm 100% convinced that Lugia needs to go. He's caused far too much drama for his own good. 2) I care more about keeping the current tribe strong than keeping around pals from my old one. It's important to keep around people you can trust and rely on, and after all this mess I feel like I actually trust my tribemates more than ever. 3) In terms of the tribe, I'm trying to contribute as much to challenges as I can. For the game overall I feel my biggest strength is my social game and ability to bond well with others. Before this whole TC fiasco everyone bonded well with me and wanted to work together with me, and my ability to form great connections will allow me flexibility in playing and slip away from being a target. 4) Last night? No, I wasn't scrambling at all -- we were all pretty set on letting Lugia go home. This morning? Hell yes I was scrambling, just trying to make sense of this whole convoluted story and figuring out who's backstabbing who. But now that that initial chaos has started to wane I think the whole tribe distrusts Lugia and would be happy to see him go, so now the pieces are again settling back in place. 5) Lugia. And, Lugia. I've talked about it a lot in this confessional and even in the past questions. He's a manipulative liar who almost convinced me to turn against my own ally to save his own ass, and I get that he's desperate but the drama he's caused was way too excessive. He's been making up shit and bad-mouthing me to everyone, and I would be more than thrilled to see him booted.

K, seems like everyone's on board with voting out Lugia. According to Cob/Poi he's currently petitioning to vote me out, which should backfire on him. Let's hope we don't get any more drama in the next like two hours!
