No, don't take that title at face value, I don't plan on booting Volcanion for flavor reasons. In fact, I don't plan on it for any reason. Yet. So, I've made it to the swap! Woo! The old tribe was starting to feel stale, so the change of pace is welcome. And as I said in my previous thread, I appreciate that the newbie tribe was only used to ease us into the game for a relatively short time. Anyway, I don't have game talk going with the ex-Mystic members yet. Mewtwo, on the other hand... I have an idea and I’m gonna say this to Volc too I’m gonna make it seem like I’m on the outs of our tribe, like I don’t have much of a connection with you two and use it to get close to them and try to gain information What do you think of this? And it’ll probably help if you guys also pretend that I’m on the outs too What comes out of this will probably heavily shape the game all the way to merge. I'm actually a bit scared of Mewtwo now! Especially since, as I forgot to mention before, he apparently suggested a F3 deal with Volcanion and Uxie on day 1. They both said nothing came out of it, but nothing's telling me they didn't lie about it. If so, maybe I should betray Mewtwo and take the side of the ex-Mystics? I'm not sure of it yet. |

Oh hey, a "TU" was hiding in plain sight in the Team Instinct forum description. Sounds like idol stuff to me, but I guess it requires cooperation from each tribe to get that one. I wonder how it would be possible.

1) As the only tribe that is completely new name wise, where do you see the divisions tonight? Are you Team Mystic, Team Valor, or are you all just Team Instinct?
2) How concerned are you for your challenge performances going further into the game? Should that play any factor in a vote? If so, tell me why.
3) Now that you’ve swapped, take this time to briefly reflect on your time so far in this game. What have you learned that will help you going forward?
4) Who is going home tonight? And who do you want to go home? If they’re not the same person, tell me why.

1) We're pretty much 3 Valors and 2 Mystics. If Mewtwo is sticking to his word, which I'm pretty sure is gonna happen now, this is gonna end up with both Mystics getting booted pretty soon.
2) I had a bit of a reputation as a challenge threat in previous games. I have no experience in making it past merge obviously, but I'm pretty sure it will make me more of a threat than I have any right to be.
3) I've learned that I'm one hell of a doormat so far, and that I need to get more ambitious someday if I want to get anywhere.
4) Probably Celebi to both.

Just to let you know that they are thinking of voting for yourself, obviously I won’t let them do that and I don’t think they have an idol so therefore you’ll be fine and even if they did have an idol I think I’ve made them feel more than safe enough for this I'm currently too tired to think straight about the game, so I'll just accept this. I know the chance that someone flips on me is pretty high, but I'm simply not able to do shit about it in my current state. |

Ok. You know what? Screw this. The more I look back at Mewtwo's PMs, the more it screams "Hi, I'm a bad liar" at me. I'm not gonna take a chance here, I'd rather have a high chance of booting him with an unknown chance of me going home than a high chance of me going home and looking like a total idiot. Of course, nothing's telling me that I'm not just being overly paranoid. But you know what? I like being gloriously paranoid. ... But first, I need to finish this puzzle that has nothing to do with the game.  |

Ok screw this, I've put the puzzle on hold to start talking with Hoopa instead. I know delaying important game plans for the sake of a puzzle would make me win the game regardless of what would happen, but you know what? Volcanion's already playing Realm Grinder, so I win anyway.

Status update: Hoopa seems to be mad at Mewtwo for lying about being at the bottom of Valor, and he's probably in for a Mewtwo boot.
... But I still haven't solved this stupid puzzle.

If Hoopa and Celebi are both telling the truth, which wouldn't surprise me since they most likely didn't debate what to answer, they're both pretty much set against Mewtwo, so this TC sounds like it's sorted out.
However, I'm still clueless about where Mewtwo found so much stuff for the idol. He's up to 18 letters, while I've only got 7.

Yes! As you can see in this very thread, I woke up feeling like I was a doormat in this game that could get booted any second, but now I actually get the feel of having accomplished something this game, which is the best thing ever!

Sorry to bump your old thread, but: Yes! As you can see in this very thread, I woke up feeling like I was a doormat in this game that could get booted any second, but now I actually get the feel of having accomplished something this game, which is the best thing ever! That’s one of my favorite things about Survivor - there’s almost always a way to change your fate. If you’re feeling on the outs, you’re probably not the only one, so you can do something about it!
