On that topic: Fuck Cobalion. Like fun speech thing sure but it’s annoying as fuck trying to play into your artificial ego

If you could snort the soul of any other player and absorb their powers, which player would you target?

None of them have powers of cocaine right?
If not, then probably Jirachi. Gimme those wishes

Did you bring the freakin polar vortex to the midwest of America this past week? Tsk tsk you naughty girl.
If you had to make a list of who you trust most to least, who would go where?

Did you bring the freakin polar vortex to the midwest of America this past week? Tsk tsk you naughty girl. If you had to make a list of who you trust most to least, who would go where? Tier 1 Cobalion - only because we have actually made it clear that we both would not like to see the other out first Jirachi - Love Jirachi - the poems are fun Meltan - Meltan might be my favorite, but I'm also convinced Meltan is everyone's Tier 2 Hoopa - We've really bonded over board games here - has been talking enough with Sol because the anime Sol was recommending is now being watched by Hoopa Solgaleo - More just a vibe, but he feels genuine - see above Poipole - Also just decent/fun conversation Tier 3 Celebi - We have just gotten a little past flavor jokes right now so its meh. Part of its on me right now because I've been busy and haven't kept up as well, but yeah Deoxys - Seems cool, but he's a dirty pats fan. Aint pulling no spygate on me

I honestly hate the beginning of the game though, so hopefully these will solidfy more later

Another note about Sol is that he really wants me to check out animes he recommends and I do not like anime at all. Send help. I might just have to wikipedia some of them or something, or bite the bullet and watch a couple episodes of one.

Mesprit did Melton dirty in the pick up line chat. Note to self: look out for Mesprit later in the game, she’s definitely a smart player.

Update: It seems to be Deoxys or Jirachi, but one person has pushed my name to both Coballion and Deoxys. My gut says that it is Celebi, just because apparently they pushed I was inactive and I definitely accidentally dropped a conversation with Celebi for a while when I passed out.

I’m very happy I read the tribe right that Coballion would be a central figure to align with. I think he’s been solid in shutting down whoever (cough Celebi cough) was pushing my name. I’ve heard from Meltan as well that it was pushed one time and nobody bit, which is good.

I think I’m fine for now, so I’m trying to play more towards setting something up to keep myself in a good spot if we go to tribal again.
1. Activity with some people was what put me in the spotlight, so I need to be better in that. I need to try to be around in that noonish gap between classes to send a few PMs to expand my activity a bit. Also when I commit to drunk PMing, I need to do so from a chair and not a bed. That way I’m much less likely, but still not impossible, to pass out.
2. Keeping Deoxys seems to be the move here. He’s been open and honest with me about my name being out there and he never tried to push it. He and Hoopa also seem very tight, which could benefit me because I also like Hoopa a lot. This also gives me ammunition to use against him or Hoopa later if there’s a bad swap.
3. I want to expand Coballion and I’s alliance. Coballion pitched us doing the four who worked on part 2, which works but I’m not a big fan of Celebi. I just pitched to Coballion is trying to swing for Hoopa and Deoxys instead if they’re close.

I’ve also been saying when talking to people “Hoopa made a good point that Deoxys is easier to read because...”
I’m hoping this might paint them as a duo more so than Coballion and I

Uh oh, Meltan might start to stir the pot here. He’s talking to me about considering a third target, so we will see where he’s thinking here, but status quo on Jirachi seems to be best for my game right now.

Update: Meltan is testing the waters of a Solgaleo boot. I could do that too, but I would never stick my neck out for it.

I don't think I've ever empathized with a player as a spec as much as I do with you right now.

Update for the specs.
Basically, Meltan’s push resulted in Jirachi vs Solgaleo.
It initially planned out like:
Locked in voting for Sol: Jirachi Meltan
Locked in voting for Jirachi: Solgaleo Hoopa Celebi
This left the other four of us on the fence to decide which was a better move, ultimately agreeing that it wasn’t worth it to go against the Jorachi vote. Cobal and I are pretty safe in the middle right now, I’ve been making stronger connections with Hoopa and Deoxys. Poipole, Meltan, and Sol I feel pretty close to as well, but I don’t necessarily trust Celebi. I think damage control with Meltan will be smooth because I talked to him about how when I was discussing the Sol push I kept saying I heard it from Jirachi first to lessen Meltan’s involvement. I’m trying to use subtle social plays like that to keep people interested in me. Another one I’ve been using that I like is cutting off the precious fun conversation once tribal starts and saying “Can’t wait to get back to that conversation after we get through this, but I want to be able to respond more quickly during tribal.” I feel like it both signals to them that I don’t want them out, and it makes them want to keep me a little more. I think the effects are probably really slight if they’re even there, but I’m trying it out to see what kind of effects it has!
