So before you read more in here go see my "pre game" post in my welcome thread: survivorlegendary.freeforums.net/thread/60/welcomeThis game is going to be interesting. There appear to be a good amount of gimmicks in play, which is always a plus and this tribe seems almost entirely here to play (which to be fair, you would expect on the favorites tribe). It also means that damn are tribals going to be hard given the amount everyone seems to be talking, I'm just now shifting to alliance talk (which may be saved for tomorrow for the full effect) and I still feel like I may be behind. I wouldn't be all that surprised to circle around to going pre merge with everyone that exists but I will try. Articuno: Seems fine so far but has not left a HUGE mark on me. Cobalion: OH BOY, this gimmick may get old fast, but they are talking about being a king and crushing their enemies and honestly, it's a blast. They'll be around for a while and maybe Falcon out at merge I feel. For the meantime they will be an important ally. Jirachi: To Jirachi I only speak in rhyme. We will probably continue to do this for a long amount of time. I'm confident we'll have fun and that we can survive. Hopefully who else we work with will be the only thing we must decide. Hoopa: So...I got a great PM from them given my "quirk" for this game:     So...yeah...they're now my final 2. This may change but yeah, gonna be great. Deoxyns: Hasn't spoken much at all, first boot if they don't change up. Meltan: Love their pictures, they're a goner but I love them. PoiPoi: Cute design, and I think I like them. Yeah that's what I got so far. Celebi: Hard to guage, but will likely be someone I'm just okay with. Gotta do more messaging but this is an early update. |

I think I'm doing fine overall. I hope I'm doing fine, it's take a bit to get stuff to get moving and I'm not feeling the love like I have in previous games, but...I think I can work it out, it's hard to read gimmick players.

Anyone else, they just give me a very xof vibe from their interests, speech, and the fact that we are kind of gushing all over each other. I'm not sure who else it could be but I can't be too sure that it's xof yet.

Okay....so Hoopa just mentioned Humanity has declined, a really obscure anime that I know xof has watched...but like there's no way I wouldn't know about xof loving the Dark Crystal, how would I ever not know about xof not loving the Dark Crystal, that'd be insane.
Whatever, doesn't matter, what matters is gameplay and perception by other players.

So I kind of...don't like this challenge. Like I get going in we were being told you that having played pokemon would give you an advantage and it's fairly well known but I dunno. It feels like it's just gonna be "hope you have some people that have played a lot of pokemon on your tribe". Like I'll try to go for the obscure stuff in creation but eh, it's all gonna come down to the knowledge of our players. Like imagine if a trivia challenge was all questions on US History, it just...wouldn't feel satisfying even if your opponents can design the questions. On the bright side it's simple and shouldn't take too long to do.

This should be the only challenge that requires Pokemon knowledge. We did not want to penalize players too much on not knowing Pokemon as well but we figured there would be some Pokemon buffs on the initial starting tribes.
A question for you my dearest Solgaleo. If you had to rank members on your tribe from most liked to most disliked currently who would fall where?

Side Note: Metlan is almost definitely meme trying a fun gimmick. No one else would try that and the pokemon go thing along with his hours of availability tell me that much.

Kind of nervous if we lose here, I chipped in my two cents but not being able to talk as much as I'd like combined with some lackluster challenge performance (compared to Deox/Metlan/Poi) makes me kind of incredibly nervous. I don't think I'll go out but...I feel I'll definitely be on the table.

Okay so apparently my strategy is just to be the person you go to when you need links to great videos and to talk about stuff because I've already hooked up PoiPoi with Reply All, Hoopa with Mob Psycho 100, and given Artie a great video that mixes the Super Bowl with infinity war. I think I'm also doing well with Coba, remarkably, I think I need to up my game with Metlan and Jirachi the most, which is odd given I feel I'm usually better at dealing with and indulging gimmick characters. Deox is still a wild card, they seemed to be a favorite that just...isn't messaging much at all, but tried really hard during the challenge. Though they are still my target if we lose...that does make me consider it, and then I remember I want to kill challenge threats.
Still no official alliance after day 3...this is not very fun but I think I slot into the "not officialy in an alliance but still safe" camp, but who knows.

Also apparently my phrasing of "let's connect and share stuff" as "And glad to hear you are a weeb, any specific genres or shows you are watching/favorites we can bond over so we want to kill each other less?" was a poor word choice. Which well..duh, but come on....it's so stupid to say it's just worth saying. Don't worry Cobie, I still love you.
